Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of MakoAnswer, a product of Mako Logics LLC. By using the website or service, you agree to them.

The service

MakoAnswer provides an AI phone-receptionist service that answers, routes, and handles calls on behalf of your business, along with transcripts, summaries, and lead capture. Features and plan limits are described on our pricing page and in your order.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate setup information and keep your account secure.
• Use the service lawfully, including compliance with call-recording, consent, and telemarketing laws that apply to your business.
• Don’t use the service to harass, defraud, or send unlawful communications.

Billing & subscriptions

Plans are recurring subscriptions billed monthly or annually at the rates shown at signup, processed by Stripe (charges appear as MAKO LOGICS). There are no setup fees or long-term contracts. Usage beyond your plan’s included calls is billed automatically at the per-call overage rate for your plan, added to your renewal invoice. Only real conversations count: spam and robocalls are filtered and never billed, and fair use covers up to 10 minutes of conversation per call.

Canceling:you may cancel anytime; cancellation stops future billing and takes effect at the end of the period you’ve already paid for, after which the service stops answering your line. We don’t prorate or refund partial billing periods, but if something on our end went wrong, contact us and we’ll make it right. If a renewal payment fails, we’ll retry the card and reach out before any interruption to your service.

Price changes:if we change plan pricing, existing subscriptions get at least 30 days’ notice before a new rate applies.

AI-generated responses

MakoAnswer uses AI to handle conversations. While we work to make it accurate and reliable, AI can make mistakes. The service is provided “as is,” and you are responsible for reviewing captured information and for decisions you make based on it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mako Logics is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the three months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
